Waqrapukara Full Day Tour from Cusco

Your adventure begins before sunrise with a hotel pickup in Cusco, followed by a scenic drive through traditional Andean villages, agricultural fields, and spectacular mountain landscapes. After enjoying breakfast, you’ll start a moderate hike surrounded by dramatic canyons and breathtaking views of the Apurímac River, one of southern Peru’s most impressive natural landmarks.

Upon reaching Waqrapukara, you’ll discover an extraordinary Inca fortress perched on a mountain whose distinctive shape resembles the horns of a bull. During the guided tour, you’ll learn about the site’s fascinating history and architecture while enjoying free time to explore, admire the panoramic scenery, and capture incredible photographs before returning comfortably to Cusco.

The hike is moderately challenging and is suitable for travelers with basic physical fitness who are properly acclimatized to the altitude.
